Well, Elyssa got to learn something about me tonight. We had a bunch of lightning and a lot of very loud thunder, and I didn't like it a whole lot. Now I'm really not much of a scaredy-cat, but loud thunder is just a little, shall we say, off-putting. I hear that Bailey the border collie gets so scared of thunder that she shivers and shakes and tries to hide under the bed. I'm really not THAT bad at all. All I do is pace a little, try to get up on the sofa with my humans, and then hide in the bathroom when the mean little white dog gets nasty about me trying to be on "her" sofa. (She really is a pain in the neck....Though she acts like she doesn't even HEAR the thunder.) Fortunately, the storm seems to have passed. After all that, I'm feeling a little sleepy.....

Wow, he doesn't normally seem afraid of storms, but away from his Mum and Dad he feels a bit insecure. It's nice to hear that it rained though, which will make walking a bit more enjoyable. Maybe Bijay likes having an adopted brother for a bit, then again maybe not.
Can't wait to hear more about Baxter's adventures!
